As spring gives way to summer, nature comes alive with vibrant energy, making it the perfect season for team bonding and rejuvenation. From May 28 to May 31, 2026, Fangqian Technology organized its annual team-building event, bringing all employees to the beautiful coastal destinations of Pingtan Island and Fuzhou in Fujian Province.

Centered around the theme “Moving Toward the Light, United as One,” this four-day journey provided an opportunity for employees to strengthen teamwork, deepen mutual trust, and enjoy meaningful moments together outside the workplace.

Day 1: Discovering the Beauty of Pingtan

The journey began with a high-speed rail trip to Pingtan, known as the “Island of Thousands of Reefs.” Upon arrival, the team visited the iconic Changjiang Ao Windmill Fields, where towering white wind turbines stand against the backdrop of blue skies and the vast ocean.

Surrounded by sea breeze, rolling waves, and breathtaking coastal scenery, we explored the shoreline, captured memorable photos, and shared moments of laughter and excitement. The evening concluded with a traditional seafood dinner featuring fresh local specialties, allowing everyone to unwind and enjoy the unique island atmosphere.

Day 2: Team Spirit Along the Coastline

The second day started with visits to the Beibu Bay Ecological Corridor and the scenic Jingsha Beach, often referred to as the “Iceland of Pingtan” for its distinctive volcanic rock formations.

In the afternoon, the highlight of the trip took place at Tannan Bay Beach, where employees participated in a series of team-building challenges organized by professional trainers. Activities included tug-of-war competitions, relay games, and collaborative water-transfer challenges that tested communication, coordination, and teamwork.

Throughout the event, participants demonstrated determination, trust, and strong team spirit. Cheers, laughter, and encouragement echoed across the beach as colleagues worked together toward shared goals. At the end of the competition, the winning team was recognized and rewarded, while all participants celebrated the success of the event together.

Day 3: Exploring Houyan Island and Fuzhou

On the third day, the team visited Houyan Island, the closest point on mainland China to Taiwan. Employees explored the island’s scenic landmarks and learned about its unique geographical significance.

After enjoying authentic Fujian cuisine, the group traveled to Fuzhou, a historic city with a rich cultural heritage. In the evening, employees visited the famous Shangxiahang Historical and Cultural District, where traditional architecture, local culture, and vibrant street life offered a glimpse into the city's history and commercial legacy.

The day concluded with a special team dinner, providing another opportunity for colleagues to connect, share experiences, and celebrate the journey together.

Day 4: Reflection and New Beginnings

The final day allowed employees to explore Fuzhou at their own pace. Many visited well-known attractions such as Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, Yantai Mountain, and other local landmarks before returning to Hangzhou.

As the journey came to an end, team members reflected on the unforgettable experiences, friendships, and memories created throughout the trip. More importantly, the event reinforced the values of collaboration, trust, and mutual support that define Fangqian Technology's corporate culture.
